Spherical Lenses

A spherical lens is an optical component used to focus or diverge light, which may consist of one or more elements. It is widely applied in fields such as microscopes, laser processing, life sciences, imaging, industry, and military engineering. When light passes through the lens, the light output is affected by the lens profile or lens substrate. Plano-convex lenses (PCX) or double-convex lenses (DCX) focus light into a single point, while plano-concave lenses (PCV) or double-concave lenses (DCV) diverge the light passing through the lens.
